Second Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics office in Russia

Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics opens new location in Moscow to attend to customers based in Russia’s capital:

Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics (WWL), a globally acting shipping company specialising in the transport of new cars, utility vehicles, rolling stock, heavy cargo and project cargo, attends to the Russian market with two locations from now. These days they opened a new office in Moscow to support the presence in St. Petersburg, established in 2003. This was a response to the growing Russian market, the enterprise announces in a press release.

According to Wallenius Wilhelmsen many importers of cars, utility vehicles, building/agricultural machines and rolling stock as well as investors from abroad with local production sites have their own offices in Moscow. This incited the shipping company to open the office in Russia’s capital. "This way we get closer to the customers", says Søren Tousgaard Jensen, Managing Director WWL Russia. The headquarters of the national company will still be in St. Petersburg.

Wallenius Wlhelmsen’s car carriers and ro-ro vessels are regularly setting their course from Bremerhaven to Russia. In addition to St. Petersburg they are also serving Ust-Luga since recently. More connections to Russia are available in the form of transshipments via seaports in Finland and Estonia.
