Shipping agency CargoCompass starts into a new era

Royal Burger Group took over the Viennese shipping agency CargoCompass; new team to follow the footsteps of the Dworczak family and Johannes Hofmann
 
The Viennese shipping agency CargoCompass sails under a Dutch flag as of now. The Royal Burger Group based in Rotterdam acquired 100 per cent of the shares of the company with retroactive effect from 1 January 2012. Despite the new ownership the company name CargoCompass will be maintained. The office will be shortly replaced from the long-term location in the DDSG building at Handelskai to Wienerberg.
 
In this new constellation the CargoCompass company will be represented by Reinhard Widhofner, Carola Winna, Katharina Fletcher and Franz Gzella in Austria. The agency business covers the shipping companies Yang Ming, OPDR, Borchard Line and Sermar Line. The founder of the company is Thomas Dworczak, his wife Irmgard Dworczak and their longstanding colleague Johannes Hofmann will retire.
 
The Royal Burger Group based in Rotterdam is acting in the fields of port agency, logistics services, liner and ferry agency. The 400 employees of the private company are working in 24 offices in ten European countries and in China.
