Spectacular heavy lift shipment of Panalpina in Linz
Panalpina branch in Linz forwards 69 tons-colli by airfreight from Ternitz in Lower Austria to Dammam in Saudi Arabia
The Lower Austrian Panalpina branch in Linz has once more proved its competence with an outstanding heavy lift shipment some days ago. On behalf of their client Schoeller-Bleckmann Nooter, a scrubber was transported from Ternitz in Lower Austria to Dammam in Saudi Arabia. The big component is part of a fertilizer production facility. According to Harald Gaisinger, Head for the northwest Austria region of the globally acting forwarding company, the dimension of the cargo piece are 1,200 x 313 x 389 centimetres. It weights 69 tons. Panalpina organised all segments of the logistics chain. A special low loader collected the scrubber in the night from Friday to Saturday in Ternitz and brought it on the road to the Blue Danube Airport Linz-Hörsching. At the airport of Upper Austria’s capital the colli was loaded to an Antonov AN-124 freight aircraft of the Antonov Company (Kiev) in the presence of many interested visitors. Quelle: LogEastics |
