Strategic alliance of JCL Logistics and RCA
JCL Logistics and Rail Cargo Austria cooperate at freight station in Wolfurt
By mid-December JCL Overland Logistics GmbH, located in Wolfurt, and OEBB Rail Cargo Austria AG have agreed on a far-reaching cooperation in system groupage services within the Austrian network. The cooperation consists of joint services within handling of goods, collecting and delivering general cargo in short-haul truck transportation from and to the freight station in Wolfurt, and to customers in Vorarlberg, Eastern Switzerland and the German Bodensee area. Parallel to this, the contract logistics services within Vorarlberg are being enlarged. Common investments into the improvement and an expansion of the technical infrastructure as well as the deployment of state-of-the-art transport technology on road and rail are main elements of the new alliance.
