Third manager with Express-Interfracht in Austria

Johann Gaida is the new managing director for the financial segment of RCA’s subsidiary Express-Interfracht Internationale Spedition GmbH (Vienna)

The top management of the forwarding company Express-Interfracht, a RCA company (Rail Cargo Austria), was joined by a new member. Johann Gaida, previous head of the group auditing department of ÖBB-Holding AG, was appointed the third managing director, effective 16 May 2011. Thanks to his longstanding experience and knowledge about value adding processes of an internationally acting forwarding and logistics enterprise, he is now heading the financial department. His main tasks will be responsibility for finances, accounting and controlling in tight cooperation with the parent company Rail Cargo Austria. The two other managing directors are Prof. Friedrich Macher and Zoltán Potvorszki.

Express-Interfracht sees itself as a global logistics service supplier, who offers services in all transport segments to its customers: In addition to rail transport, this covers also transport by ships, trucks, aircraft as well as special logistics solutions for special tasks. A block train concept, which is jointly operated with partners, offers logistic solutions from Central and Western Europe to Greece, Macedonia, Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria and Turkey. The network of the enterprise comprises more than 50 branches in many European countries.
