TransOcean Shipping opens office in Vancouver

TOS TransOcean Shipping Transportagentur GesmbH (Vienna) expands its activities to overseas. A new office in Vancouver will start operation on 1st July. “This location will mainly handle project cargo with destinations in Canada and North America“, Managing Director Peter Czajkowski said in an interview with the Österreichische Verkehrszeitung (Austrian Transport Magazine). Further TOS offices are located in Antwerp, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Munich, Prague and Koper.

Being an all-rounder, TOS supports small and medium-sized forwarding companies in Central and Eastern Europe by providing a broad spectrum of shipping agency services. They are ranging from container-/reefer transports to LCL consolidations, general cargo, project cargo, heavy lift operations and RoRo shipping, stuffing/stripping of containers and transportations with inland vessels and short sea services from Antwerp/Rotterdam to northern Europe and the Baltic States. The office in Vienna employs 10 persons and holds the Austrian agencies of Hoegh Autoliners, Ocean World Lines, H. Stinnes Linien, GOCL Great Ocean Container Lines and I.R.I.S.L. (sub-agent of Peter W. Lampke).
