Wildenhofer opens logistics site in Achau

Logistics facility of Wildenhofer Group in the south of Vienna is ready to go
 

The Wildenhofer Group has successfully finalised a new logistics facility in Achau in the south of Vienna. With investments of EUR 13 million, the enterprise headquartered in Salzburg has built up a terminal with 12,600 sq.m. hall area and 20,000 air-conditioned pallet slots. The new building is the basis for the long-planned joining of the forwarding and logistics activities to one central site, so far handled by around 50 employees at three stations in Greater Vienna.

Managing Director Andreas Mayer-Wildenhofer emphasises in an interview with Österreichische Verkehrszeitung (Austrian Transport Magazine) on the modern equipment of the new location. “As of January 2010 the logistics customers will be transferred step-by-step. As of the second quarter of the year 2010 we should be operating to full capacity“, the entrepreneur draws an outline.
