Wim Bosman group opens its second branch in Poland

New location in Katowice enhances Wim Bosman Poland’s national LTL-network

In the beginning of June, Wim Bosman opened a new branch in Katowice, in the Silesia province. The activities of the newly-opened branch in Poland consist of domestic and international transport; the focus is on LTL and FTL shipments. These services will be conducted mainly based on cooperation with third-party subcontractors. Groupage shipments will be handled via the general cargo network System Alliance Europe.

The Silesia province is considered as one of the best economically developing regions in Poland. The mining, iron and steel, machine building, chemical and automotive industry sectors are settled here, which was a reason for Wim Bosman to open its second LTL/FTL branch in Poland. "The activities of the Katowice and Pruszków office will be linked closely. Furthermore, we will make use of the group’s existing flows of LTL shipments to and from Poland," explains Ryszard Puchalski, Operations Manager, Wim Bosman Poland. This enables Wim Bosman Poland to build a solid network for LTL cargo that includes international and regional distribution.

"The establishment of the new branch is part of our strategy for the development of Wim Bosman. The overall aim is to create a solid basis in terms of growth and development in Poland and also in the Czech Republic and Slovakia," concludes Beata Krawczyk, the Managing Director of Wim Bosman Poland.
