Change of Management at Schenker & Co AG Tyrol

Schenker & Co AG Tyrol: Hans-Dieter Salcher retires; Gerhard Aigner and Hannes Egger take over the branch management 

 

A change in the top Management of the Tyrolean branch of DB Schenker ist o become effective from 1 January 2011. Hans-Dieter Salcher enters his well-earned retirement after 26 years of activity as a branch manager. His successors the two Tyroleans Gerhard Aigner and Hannes Egger will be presented by Mag. Elmar Wieland, CEO Schenker & Co AG Austria and Southeastern Europe, on 25 November in Innsbruck.

In Tyrol Schenker operates locations in Innsbruck, Kufstein and since the start of this year in Lienz. At the location in Innsbruck about 190 persons are employed, who work at the headquarters in St. Bartlmä, the 6,290 m² Logistics Service Center in Griesauweg and the air freight office at the Innsbruck airport, respectively. In Kufstein 70 employees operate a 11,758 m² forwarding terminal. The location in Lienz in East Tyrol provides 800 m² warehousing and throughput space to its customers.
