Containex Austria receives federal prize

Containex Container-Handelsgesellschaft m.b.H. is authorised to bear the Austrian federal coat of arms

Exceptional performances and the spirit of innovations pay for Containex Austria in many ways. As a honour for services for the Austrian economy, the leading provider for containers and mobile room systems in Europe received recently the authorisation to bear the Austrian federal coat of arms from the Ministry of Economy, Family and Youth.

The prize is based on many exceptional parameters. “The most important factor of success are our highly qualified and motivated employees“, announces Josef Heißenberger, Managing Director of Containex Austria. As further important factors he named their great closeness to customers and their concentration on their core business. “Last but not least of course also our elaborated container products have contributed to our long-term success“, the company announces in a press release.

Originally the construction branch accounted mainly for the turnover of Containex. In the course of the years the range of operation for the products was continuously expanded. “Our containers are today used for manifold purposes for municipal applications in trade and industry. The special strength of our product are for sure the various options that might be used by different target groups”, Heißenberger sums up.

Containex, a company of the Lkw Walter group headquartered in Wiener Neudorf, generated a turnover at EUR 190.3 million with 263 employees in the 2008/2009 financial year. The products range from office containers, sanitary containers, storage containers as well as sea containers used or new.
