DB Schenker closes gap in Eastern Europe

DB Schenker Logistics’ national company in Byelorussia starts operating with two locations in Greater Minsk:

 

DB Schenker Logistics’ network in Eastern Europe was recently expanded. As of now the enterprise has its own national company in Byelorussia. DB Schenker FLLC with branches in Minsk and at the airport Minsk acts as a hub for the global network of the enterprise comprising 2,000 locations in more than 130 countries. It offers the complete range of logistic services, such as importation and exportation of full and less than full loads in cargo traffic with Byelorussia, Russia and Kazakhstan as well as air and sea freight including the handling of all customs formalities.

„The new national company boosts our network in Eastern Europe“, says Karl Nutzinger, Member of the Management of Schenker AG, in charge of overland transport. “Our customers expect a smooth service in Byelorussia as well. Our own company is a crucial factor to guarantee continuous high quality of services. We assume the customs union recently formed between Byelorussia, Russia and Kazakhstan will bring further growth impetus.“ Previuosly, an office in Minsk was active in the market on behalf of DB Schenker Logistics’ Russian company.
