Enhanced rail service from Koper to Poland

Second round-trip per week ex Koper via Austria to Katowice has been started from 9 September

The rail shuttle from Koper to Katowice in southern Poland and return, jointly operated by Baltic Rail, Adria Transport and Luka Koper, is about to be enhanced. From 9 September a service on Sundays will be added to the regular traffic with departures on Thursdays, 10 pm. The previously operated round-trip covered interim stops in Werndorf (Cargo Center Graz) and Vienna Freudenau. The new liner service stops only in Vienna Freudenau on its journey from Koper to southern Poland.

The rail shuttle from Koper to southern Poland of Baltic Rail, Adria Transport and Luka Koper increases the density of hinterland transport between the northern Adriatic Sea to Middle and Eastern Europe. Regular block trains are linking Katowice to the Polish seaports Gdansk/Gdynia.
