European premiere of “Direct Express“ with TNT Express
| TNT Express launches cost-efficient service concept for road transportation TNT Express’ service portfolio contains a new product line as of now. Named “Direct Express“, an innovative and cost-efficient solution for road transportation was introduced. This gives large-volume customers a direct link to the TNT network in the target country. The result is a faster, more flexible and reliable service. With the “Direct Express“-solution consignments are collected at the customer location and transported directly to the transfer station of TNT in the target country. Avoiding storage and the hub in the original country provides more flexibility to the customer in terms of collection time, and hence more flexibility in adjusting the transport logistics to individual requirements. A broad range of delivery options is available at the destination (before 9 a.m., before 10 a.m., before midday or the end of the day). “We are proud to be the first enterprise that offers this service throughout Europe indeed.
