Fercam logistics centre in Ottobiano starting opertion
| Fercamterry Logistica opens mega logistics centre in Greater Milan In the presence of numerous guests from home and abroad the South Tyrolean transport and logistics enterprise Fercam AG inaugurated the logistics centre in Ottobiano, in the south of Milan, last weekend. The new facility was built within 14 months on a 65,000 square metres location with a total investment of EUR 18 million. On 33,500 square meters built-up area 60,000 pallet slots and 34 truck docking stations are available for procurement and distribution logistics. Around 10 per cent of the new logistics facility, which is continuously connected to the Italian and European-wide network of the Fercam Group, are reserved for logistics of Terry Store-Age. This globally acting company is established in the fields of development, production and distribution of plastic boxes and stacking systems and is headquartered in Bareggio. The facility is operated by Fercamterry Logistics, a joint venture of Fercam AG in Bolzano (51%) and Terry Store-Age (49%). Quelle: Österreichische Verkehrszeitung |
