Flash Europe opens air freight office in Frankfurt

Specialist for rapid transportations – Flash Europe – establishes new hub for multimodal transport

The logistics service provider Flash Europe expands its air freight services. With effect from 1 September an air freight office in Kelsterbach in the immediate vicinity of the Frankfurt airport is to start operating. Thus the enterprise responds to the increasing international business volume and the related growth of multimodal transport. The location in Kelsterbach is headed by Alexander Brix.

Flash Europe presents itself as a specialist for rapid transportations. The enterprise has been active in the market for 29 years. With 250,000 special deliveries per year it is one of the biggest providers in this segment in Europe. In addition to direct deliveries the service range comprises also air charter (they operate an own charter department), on-board-courier-solutions as well as multimodal transportations.

The services are mainly used by entrepreneurs from the automotive supply industry, for whom a network is available to serve 78 countries around the globe. Flash Europe operates own offices in 11 countries and employs 250 persons. The enterprise has more than 4,000 vehicles and 600 aircrafts available, and cooperates with about 1,500 longstanding and reliable partners. Flash Europe’s turnover in 2009 amounted to EUR 82 million.
