H.Essers to build a new warehouse in Bucharest
First pole for H.Essers in newly purchased Romanian ground – they will builda 30,000 m² warehouse
On October 10th 2012 H.Essers signed a purchase agreement with BucharestIndustrial Park (BIP). BIP is a logistic development project of WilmarcInvest (a.o. Skyline Europe) and Attis (d. Cavens) in joint venture with aRomanian partner.With this agreement the company extends its ground surface in Romania with another 50,000 m². The purchased area lies in a unique and very accessiblelocation near the first exit of the main motorway from Bucharest to WesternEurope (A1).
In a first phase a warehouse of 30,000 m² will be built here, where from 5000 m² is dedicated to pharma, 2 x 10,000 m² for a conventional warehouse, 2 x 2000 m² for liquids and chemicals under the highest seveso-standards andfinally there is 1000 m² equipped for an aerosol warehouse. In a secondphase, there is a possibility within Bucharest Industrial Park for an expansion of warehouse surface of approximately 100,000 m² in total.
