Hellmann offers now tracking of shipments by smartphone

Information Tool of Hellmann Worldwide Logistics can now be used by everyone with a smartphone vie the mobile website:

As of now Hellmann Worldwide Logistics can be reached mobile by clients from everywhere at any time. Via the mobile website “m.portal.hellmann.net“ customers can get free information about land, air and sea freight consignments via the track and trace system. “The mobile product info centre provides also an overview about European-wide overland transhipment times“, the enterprise writes in a press release.

The Hellmann portal, which customers are well acquainted with, will be preserved in the smartphone version. The mobile website is based on the Hellmann Information Tool (HIT-Portal) and thus uses the same structures. “We enable our customers to trace their shipments from anywhere“, says Kai Hasenpusch, Managing Director Germany of Hellmann Worldwide Logistics.

The difference to the known app is that Hellmann’s mobile website can be reached with every internet-compatible mobile phone (also BlackBerries etc.) and requires no installation. “As we do not want to select a defined operating system, we decided for a solution from which all smartphone users can profit“, explains Kai Hasenpusch.
