ICA: More details about the new intermodal SEE network

Intercontainer Austria starts three new rotations to Turkey and Greece as well as a shuttle to Rail Port Arad

 

Intercontainer Austria (ICA) has finished the preparations to start operating the intermodal network to Southeastern Europe. On 15 January the Rail Cargo Austria AG company will introduce two new rotations per week from Vienna to Istanbul-Halkali (increased frequency is in the pipeline) and one weekly rotation from Wels to Thessaloniki with options for further transportations to Macedonia.

On 25 January a block train will start operating between Wels and Rail Port Arad Terminal in Romania once per week. The new network to Southeastern Europe completes the regular transport offering. This provides daily services from the Ruhr area via Wels and Vienna to Budapest BILK-Terminal.
