NTR closes location in Vienna
The Vienna office of the rail forwarding company Nordisk Transport Rail is facing its end. The location will be closed on March 1, 2009, due to the difficult economic environment. In a release Rune Österlin, Managing Director, said the reason for this measure was the reduced volume of transports, in particular in the paper industry. This development forced the owner to cut costs. The redundant personnel of Nordisk Transport Rail Austria GmbH will be taken over by the forwarding company Express-Interfracht. Hence the same persons will serve the customers and the same conditions as before can be maintained, as stated in a release.
