Quehenberger starts additional groupage lines in Eastern Europe

General cargo shipping services of Quehenberger Logistics in Eastern and Southeastern Europe to be expanded to Siberia in April

In a press release Quehenberger Logistics announces the start of additional regular cargo services between the countries in Eastern and Southeastern Europe. Via the new line from Slovenia to Poland v.v. shipments from all Balkan countries are transported to Poland, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine or the Baltic States and back. The location in Logatec, Slovenia, serves as hub for South Eastern Europe, and Tichy in southern Poland is the hub for for North East Europe. The trades are based on standardised processes, regular departures, reliable transit times and the online track & trace tool.

Quehenberger Logistics operates 150 cargo lines across Europe and puts a focus on the further expansion of the connections in Eastern and Southeastern Europe. Since recently there are regular services between Slovenia and Bulgaria, Poland and Ukraine and between Poland and Minsk in Belarus. Due to high capacity utilisation of the scheduled services to Moscow and St. Petersburg, more routes behind the Ural to Siberia will be established in April.

With the new transport services the private group of companies headquartered in Straßwalchen near Salzburg responds to the increasing trade relations between the Balkan countries and the former CIS countries, especially Russia, as well as to the increasing exports from the Southeast European countries to Western Europe. To avoid possible delays in cargo transport to Russia the group operates their own trucks on the trades to Russia and own customs offices at the border on both the Polish and the Belarusian side. The company operates its own general cargo network in Austria and twelve Eastern European countries ranging from Russia to Bulgaria, and is linked with high-performance transport partners throughout Europe.
