Change of ownership of Cechofracht Group finalised
Cechofracht as of now affiliated to New World Resources Transportation Group On 11 November the takeover of the traditional enterprise Cechofracht in the Czech Republic was finalised successfully. The new owner of the Prague based freight forwarding group is the New World Resources Transportation Group, registered in the Netherlands. With this acquisition the company expands their activities, which have so far been focused on the operation of the private railway company OKD, to the market segment of international freight forwarding services. The brands Cechofracht, Spedi-Trans Praha (rail forwarding) and OKD Doprava will be maintained. Cechofracht is the leading provider of forwarding and logistics services (land transport, air/sea freight) in the Czech Republic. The enterprise as around 400 employees. Together with Spedi-Trans Praha and OKD Doprava the company will control around 25 per cent of the rail transport market in the Czech Republic.
