cargo-partner makes further investment in Slovakia

Forwarding group cargo-partner to build logistics hall beyond March-river
 

The headquarters of the international transport logistics group cargo-partner in Fischamend (Austria) are preparing the implementation of a new object in Slovakia. Construction works for a new logistics building beyond the March-river will start soon. According to a report in the “Industriemagazin“, the erection of a new logistics hall is planned. The total investment amounts to around EUR 5 million. This facility increases the corporate group’s number of locations in Slovakia to four.

“Construction costs are relatively low at the moment. Moreover the demand for logistics services in Slovakia is going to surpass the values registered during the economic boom on the medium-term“, Robert Galbavy, Managing Director of cargo-partner, states the motives for the warehouse. The globally acting transport- and logistics group has generated a turnover of EUR 406 million with 1,900 employees in 2008.
