This means 634 employees without a job will be given the opportunity to receive further skills, training courses or re-training.

The skills offer in the frame of the Ausped labour foundation ranges from completion of apprenticeship to degrees of universities for applied sciences. According to the Ministry for Social Affairs the intense support to find a job afterwards shall increase professional chances considerably. Participants of the foundations receive monthly unemployment benefits and a grant of EUR 100. In total EUR 4.8 million are invested into the Ausped foundation.

Financial means for the foundation are provided by an additional collective agreement between employees of the freight forwarding industry and social partners, as well as by the state and the AMS labour market service. Affected persons can enter into the foundation as of now until the end of next year at latest.
