Hanjin opens terminal in Busan
A new container terminal in the south Korean Busan port started operating last week. The facility is operated by Hanjin New Port Corporation, a subsidiary of the globally acting shipping line Hanjin Shipping. Busan New Port Phase 2-1-Terminal has a yard space of nearly 700,000 square metres. The new terminal has three berths that can accommodate vessels with a maximum depth of 18m, and a maximum capacity of more than 10,000 TEU.
