Kentner’s logistics park Heidenheim offers 40,000 m² warehousing area

Opening the logistics park Heidenheim (Baden-Württemberg) the Kentner Spedition opens a new era. The facility erected by the ProLogis, who invested EUR 19 million, offers around 40,000 m² warehousing area. About 10,000 m² are designed for storage and throughput of heavy cargo. This area is equipped with a 40-tons crane. Moreover the logistics terminal offers 35,000 pallet slots, about 4,500 m² for co-packing and handling, 50 truck docking stations and 800 m² offices.

The biggest customer in the new building of the Kentner forwarding company is the Paul Hartmann AG. The globally acting enterprise for medical and care products signed an agreement with the private transport and logistics service provider upon the storage of up to 30,000 pallets (including order-picking and dispatch preparation) and upon order-picking and packaging of up to 3,000 parcels per day.
