Prangl sets new benchmark for cranes
| The Prangl-company, based in Brunn am Gebirge, takes a pioneer role in the crane sector. Recently a 175 meters crane was added to the fleet. According to the Management the new equipment is outshining all others available in Austria. The new device has a lateral operating range of 40.79 metres and a maximum height of the hook of 44.30 metres. The long main arm of the PLK 175 allows getting over interferences of 26 metres with the jib. The vehicle is designed as a rear crane and is therefore able to approach very close to the object that shall be lifted. “The crane will mainly operate at industrial facilities, but the crane shall also score in other fields“, the Prangl-headquarters announced. The core expertise of the private company lies in hiring mobile cranes and work platforms as well as carrying out heavy-lift and special transportations. With 610 employees working at locations in Austria, Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia and Croatia a turnover of EUR 100 million was achieved in 2008. Quelle: Österreichische Verkehrszeitung |
