BLS about to expand in Hamburg

BLS Bavarian Logistics Solutions opens logistics terminal in Hamburg

By 1 December 2008 a logistics terminal offering 10,000 sq. m. warehouse space in Hamburg will be added to the network of BLS Bavarian Logistics Solutions. With the new building being erected in the vicinity of the Port of Hamburg, the forwarding company intends to consolidate and expand its position as a specialist for complex logistic services with global orientation.

BLS was formed as a joint venture of the forwarding companies Andreas Schmid Logistik (Gersthofen) and Senator International (Hamburg) in 2006. The major activities are global transportation and logistics services. The new warehouse complex in Hamburg increases the total storage capacity to a hall area of approximately 170,000 sq. m. at locations in Germany and the Czech Republic.
