Ceva Logistics fights against economic crisis

Ceva Logistics continues strict cost management

Ceva Logistics, a globally acting corporate group, is doing quite well given the current economic crisis. From January to June turnover decreased 15 per cent in comparison to 2008 to EUR 2.64 billion. The operative result before specific items shows a decline of 39 per cent to EUR 99 million in the interim report.

Nevertheless CEO John Pattullo is confident the company will emerge stronger from the crisis. The Manager’s optimism is based on a package of measures with three main issues. In addition to continuing targeted measures to reduce costs he plans to expand activities in China and to enhance cooperation with key customers.
