Déjà vu for Quehenberger Logistics

Core of Logwin Road + Rail becomes Quehenberger Logistics

The Quehenberger brand celebrates a comeback after 10 years. On 5 February 2010 the remake of the freight forwarding company was announced in Salzburg. “Quehenberger II“ is based on the core activities of Logwin Road + Rail in Austria and Eastern Europe (65 locations in 12 countries). The owners of the new company are via the Augustin Network holding the private persons Christian Fürstaller, Rodolphe Schoettel and Rudi Quehenberger. The previous Logwin companies will be renamed to Quehenberger with immediate effect. Christian Fürstaller holds the position of the Chief Executive Officer.

“Quehenberger II“ renders services in the fields of transport, forwarding and logistics. Together with Augustin Network the enterprise forms a group with 2,100 employees (800 of them in Austria) and an annual turnover of EUR 360 million. Due to their different strengths Quehenberger and Augustin will be managed separately. Turnover is aimed to rise to EUR 440 million until 2013.
