Europe–USA: TNT and Con-Way accelerate freight service
New gateways of TNT and Con-Way Freight for cargo services between Europe and the US TNT and Con-Way-Freight improve their joint freight service between Europe and the United States by establishing additional gateways at the international airports in Miami and Los Angeles. The new hubs shorten transit times to and from America’s southwest and southeast by up to two days. TNT and Con-Way-Freight were so far connected in the form of their networks only at the junction on the New York JFK airport. Since April 2009 TNT and Con-Way-Freight linked their freight networks in Europe and on the North American continent. The background of this measure is the striving of both companies for a better service in these two regions. |
