Expanded ro-ro service range with NYK Line departing from the north

NYK Line offers new ro-ro service from northern Europe to the Caribbean 

NYK Line’s service schedule in ro-ro traffic departing from the European northern continent was expanded. Since the end of April the shipping line is operating a regular service named “NYK-Carib-Service“ to the US East Coast with transhipments in the Caribbean. Monthly departures ex Bremerhaven and Zeebrugge are available. As for the U.S. the ports of Miami and Baltimore are approached with direct services. Transhipment connections are available to Santo Tomas de Castilla (Guatemala), Puerto Cortes (Honduras), Puerto Limon (Costa Rica), Cartagena, Santa Marta (both in Columbia), Aruba and Curacao (Netherlands Antilles), Cayman Islands, Puerto Cabello (Venezuela), Santos (Brazil) as well as to Delta Dock and Zarate in Argentina.

In its “NYK-Carib-Service“ NYK Line deploys new ro-ro units of the “leader class“. The PCTC vessels (Pure Car-Pure Truck Carrier) provide transport capacities for up to 4,950 vehicles. The service forwards cars and all kinds of automotive vehicles. On direct services the shipping of cargo on rolling equipment is authorised.
