Gefco responds to customer demand
Guillaume Chavanat, Managing Director of Gefco Austria, calls attention to the advantages of the European-wide network of the company he is working for. “We are able to respond to changed transport and process requirements by modifications of routes, hubs and truck lines at short notice. In the context of the current market situation it is very important for our customers to adapt logistics processes flexibly and quickly to changing requirements. Gefco has the technological and logistic infrastructure to organize transport processes individually and without affecting standardized processes”, Mr. Chavanat announced in a press release. According to his statement hubs that are frequented strongly today; might be used as depot or an alternative station tomorrow. Automotive-lines will be combined with non automotive-transports. This helps compensating delivery-fluctuations and avoids rises in prices for customers, Mr. Chavanat points out. Gefco has been present in Austria since 2004 with a national affiliate, based in Vienna.
