Lkw Walter received award from Green Cargo for its continuous measures to reinforce cargo transport on the railway The international transport logistics group Lkw Walter (Wiener Neudorf) has received a new trophy for its collection. The Swedih cargo railway Green Cargo recently gave the “Climate Comet of the Year 2010 Award” to the enterprise rooted in Austria. Mikael Stöhr, CEO Green Cargo, said the reason for selecting Lkw Walter was their intense measures to shift long distance transportations from road to rail. By increasing their multimodal trailer fleet Lkw Walter has launched a new initiative to reinforce its transborder rail transportations.
