Meneghin & Partner wins Ursula F. Schmeling as partner

Ex ITZ chief editor Schmeling changes to management consultancy

Meneghin & Partner (M&P), a management consulting enterprise that is specialising on the international logistics industry, enlarges the circle of its partners and its service profile. On 1 October Ursula F. Schmeling joined the enterprise as a partner. She is to take over the management of the new business unit PR & Media Communication. At last she had been Chief Editor and Publishing Director of the trilingual logistics magazine ITZ Logistics Worldwide/JTI, ITJ in Basel. Before that she was Division Manager for marketing and public relations at HHVW – sales promotion and advertising at Port of Hamburg.

On 1 August Sabine Wetzel was admitted as M&P partner. Since 2005 she had been Head of Research in the enterprise. Ms. Wetzel has many years of experience and international managing skills in the forwarding, logistics and human resources consultancy.

The founder of the company, Bruno Meneghin (70), retired on 31 July. He passed his position as Chairman of the Board of Directors to Urs B. Hug. Urs Hug has been a partner since 1998 and managing Associate of Meneghin & Partner since 2000. Together with Andreas Obermeyer, Senior Partner since 2001, the M&P team is now formed by four active partners and four employees in Back office and Research.
