Rhenus opened warehouse in southern Poland

 
Rhenus Freight Logistics with new location in Gleiwitz (Gliwice)

From now on Rhenus Freight Logistics is active at five locations in Poland. The enterprise opened a new warehouse in Gleiwitz (Gliwice), southern Poland, in October. The 3,200 sq. m. facility offers storage positions for 4,000 pallets, as well as several different logistics services, value-added services and daily liner and charter traffics for im- and exportation.

Moreover the terminal serves as a main cross-docking hub for Rhenus Freight Logistics in Poland. An country-wide distribution and provision of consignments can be effected within 24 to 48 hours. „The new location serves to further expand our position in the Polish market „, says Uwe Oemmelen, Executive Chairman at Rhenus. More locations of the enterprise are situated in Warsaw, Posen, Breslau and Olkusz.
The Rhenus group (15,500 employees at 230 locations, which lately showed an annual turnover of EUR 3.3 billion) is represented in several business segments in Poland. Rhenus Fasttrack operates seven logistics facilities in the field of contract logistics. The port logistics-division provides its own operations at six ports.
