UPS appoints new Country Manager for Austria and Hungary

UPS appointed Nando Cesarone the new Country Manager for Austria and Hungary. Holding this position, the 37-years-old will be in charge of operative and business development, as well as for the strategic orientation of the group’s whole express business in Austria and Hungary. Mr. Cesarone is succeeding Günter Sobczak, who will take over the position as Europe Region Business Quality Assessment Manager with office in Germany. 

Nando Cesarone  started his career at UPS on a part-time basis at the local parcel operation in 1990, while he was studying in Toronto, Canada. From 1992 to 1996 he worked as a parcel deliverer, afterwards he was holding Management positions in the fields of parcel operation, parcel transportation and Industrial Engineering. From 1997 to 2007 he was holding several Management positions for UPS in Canada, gaining more and more tasks: Hub Operations Manager, Package Operations Manager and Transportation Manager for all over Canada. 

Nando Cesarone is currently holding the position of Country Manager for UPS Switzerland. He will keep this position besides to his new tasks. Nando Cesarone is married and has two sons. He graduated from the Edinburgh School of Business with a Master of Business degree.
