Logistics award for Logwin in Macedonia
| Logwin Macedonia received platinum award at the International Quality Summit Convention for its striving for service perfection With their motto ‘Never stand still, always improve’ the Macedonian subsidiary of Logwin AG is well received on an international level. The enterprise was honoured with the platinum award at the 24th International Quality Summit Convention for its outstanding company achievements in the fields of quality, innovation and performance. Trajan Angelov, Country Director, accepted the award in front of around 300 guests from 64 countries in New York. Logwin has had a presence in Macedonia for 15 years, establishing itself there as a specialist in textile logistics. The poster child of the company is the textile logistics warehouse in Štip that was opened in 2004. On a total area of 5,500 sq. m., about 1,700 sq. m. are devoted to hanging garments while 2,600 sq. m. are used to store raw materials and general cargo. Besides warehousing logistics, customs clearance, sorting and distribution of raw materials as well as CAD/CAM services, Logwin Macedonia’s portfolio includes also embroidery work and the collection of finished articles. Quality control, labeling and order picking complete their offering. Beside customers from the textile industry, the company attends to clients from the automotive, chemicals and media business.
