MSC launches new liner service from Hamburg

MSC integrated Hamburg into South America-schedule

Since the end of last week customers of the Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) may ship container consignments from Hamburg to the South American East Coast. The new liner service of the shipping company connects the European ports of Antwerp, Rotterdam, Bremerhaven and Rotterdam with the South American ports of Suape, Santos, Buenos Aires, Rio Grande, Santos and Itaguai (Sepetiba).

Departures are available in a weekly rhythm. The deployed vessels offer a capacity between 4,870 and 5,700 TEU. Because of the large number of northbound refrigerated shipments, every vessel offers 500 to 600 connections for refrigerated containers.
