Two more countries joined Movianto’s European network
| Pharmaceutical logistician Movianto opens own national companies in Portugal and Slovakia The European network of the Movianto group was expanded to two new countries. With new locations in Portugal and in Slovakia the logistics service provider expands its presence for international customers from the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and healthcare industry. Slovakia is the 13th countrie to join the European network of Movianto and it marks another step of the enterprise towards Eastern Europe. “A growing demand as well as the commissioning from a renowned pharmaceutical producer to have Movianto supply the Czech and Slovak markets, contributed to the decision to create a new site and additional storage capacities”, the enterprise announces in a press release. The newly opened site near Lisbon in cooperation with the Movianto subsidiary in Madrid allows a better coverage of the Iberian Peninsula: The warehouse in Portugal provides almost 5,000 pallet storage spaces, including temperature controlled storage places and capacities for controlled drugs. Movianto is a logistics and distribution service provider specialising in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and healthcare industry. The enterprise develops outsourcing logistics solutions for its customers on a local, regional or European level.
