TX Logistik becomes railway operator for IMS

 
Container operator IMS agrees on cooperation with private railway TX Logistik 

The Vienna based container operator IMS Intermove Systems found a new railway company to operate the „Austria Container Shuttle“ (ACS). IMS selected the private railway company TX Logistik. „The companies agreed upon the cooperation in a contract a few days ago. We will start coperation by January 1, 2009“, Wolfgang Tomassovich, General Manager of IMS, disclosed in the interview with the Österreichische Verkehrszeitung (Austrian Transport Magazine). TX Logistik replaces WLB Cargo at IMS.

The „Austria Container Shuttle“ connects the Austrian terminals Wien-Freudenau and Ennshafen with the German seaports of Hamburg and Bremerhaven. The current timetable comprises 7 weekly rotations. At each departure a capacity for 90 TEU is available.
