Positive development of Ceva Logistics in the year 2010

Worldwide active specialist for supply chain management Ceva Logistics achieved a jump in turnover and results in 2010

 

The worldwide active transport and logistics group Ceva Logistics with its headquarters in Hoofddorp in the Netherlands reported a good business year 2010. Turnover was up by 25 per cent at EUR 6.8 billion compared to 2009. Also the operating results (Ebitda) grew 25 per cent to EUR 292 million. According to CEO John Pattullo the markets in Asia, the Americas as well as Italy and Turkey made a considerable contribution to this development. Growth in Northern Europe was in turn quite moderate. There the year 2010 was characterised by the first healthcare contract in the Czech Republic and by the establishment of the first of four Multi-Market Warehouses for a global pharma company.

Ceva Logistics expects the positive development of the key figures of turnover and results to continue throughout the coming months. The enterprise has around 50,000 employees and serves about 170 countries and regions around the globe.
